In 1999 two women had an idea to create a Christmas event to be
held in Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket, RI.
This idea grew into Pawtucket's Winter Wonderland.
With the approval of Mayor James Doyle a volunteer group was recruited
and Pawtucket's Winter Wonderland
was formed as an organization in conjunction with the
City of Pawtucket.
The event is held on three consecutive week ends preceding
Christmas each year.
We are happy and proud to report that it has been a huge success
and continues to grow each year.
Our goal is to provide a place where children and families can
come to enjoy various holiday related activities at an affordable
price.
